Private Inca Jungle Custom Dates
The Same Adventure. Entirely Yours.
OVERVIEW
Every group is different. Some travel fast and want to cover maximum ground. Others prefer to stop at every viewpoint, photograph every orchid on the trail, and take the long way around whenever the scenery justifies it. Some groups are celebrating something. Some are traveling together for the first time. Some simply want the full Inca Jungle experience without sharing it with strangers.
The Private Inca Jungle tour gives your group exclusive access to the complete route with a dedicated guide assigned to you from day one, departure times set around your schedule, and the flexibility to adjust the pace, the itinerary, and the level of service to match exactly what your group needs.
Private tours are available in all formats: the 2-day Express, the 4-day Classic, the 5-day Extended, or a fully custom itinerary built around your dates and interests. Whatever you choose, the experience belongs entirely to your group.
A minimum of 2 passengers is required to confirm a departure.

DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
- WHAT MAKES A PRIVATE TOUR DIFFERENT
Your own dedicated guide
From the moment your tour begins to the moment you return to Cusco, you have a single guide focused entirely on your group. No managing different personalities across a mixed group. No adjusting to a pace that does not suit you. Your guide knows your group, your preferences, and your goals from the start.
Flexible departure times
Private tours depart when it suits you. If your group prefers an earlier start to beat the heat on the bike descent, or a later departure to allow for a proper breakfast first, we arrange it. The schedule works around you, not the other way around.
Adjustable itinerary
Want to spend more time at a particular point on the trail? Add a stop that interests you? Skip an activity that does not? On a private tour these decisions belong to your group. We can extend sections, add optional activities, or restructure the daily itinerary based on what you want from the experience.
Accommodation upgrades available
Every night on the route has upgrade options available, from standard countryside lodges to boutique accommodation and premium rooms in Aguas Calientes. Private tour clients can select their preferred accommodation category at the time of booking.
Ideal for families with children
The minimum age on private tours is 8 years old with parental authorization, compared to 12 on standard group departures. The route, pace, and activities are adapted around younger travelers so that the experience works for the whole family.
Perfect for special occasions
Birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, and group celebrations all benefit from the privacy and flexibility of a dedicated tour. Let us know at the time of booking and we will make sure the experience reflects the occasion.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I customize the activities on a private tour? Yes. That is one of the main advantages of booking privately. If you want to skip the rafting, add an extra hiking day, spend more time at a specific point on the trail, or include an activity not listed in the standard itinerary, we accommodate it. Tell us what you want and we will build around it.
Can families with young children do the private tour? Yes. The minimum age on private tours is 8 years old with parental authorization. The pace, activities, and daily distances are adapted around the youngest members of the group. We have run this route successfully with families traveling with children and can advise on the best format based on your children’s ages and fitness levels.
How many people can join a private tour? There is no upper limit on group size for private tours. Whether you are a couple, a family of five, or a corporate group of twenty, we organize the logistics accordingly. Larger groups may require additional guides and vehicles, which we factor into the quote.
Can I choose my accommodation category? Yes. All accommodation on the private tour can be upgraded from the standard option. We will present available options at each stop on the route when we send your quote.
How quickly can you organize a private tour? For most dates we can confirm a private tour with as little as one week of advance notice. During peak season between May and October, Machu Picchu entrance tickets can be the limiting factor, so earlier booking is always better. Contact us as soon as your dates are set and we will check availability immediately.
What happens if someone in our group cannot complete the trek? Your guide is trained to handle this situation. Depending on where on the route the issue occurs, there are vehicle access points that allow a participant to exit the trail and be transferred to the next accommodation point or back to Cusco. We will always have a plan in place and your guide will communicate it to the group before departure.
