Trust Is Built Over Time and Verified by Others.
OVERVIEW
Travelers booking an adventure tour in a foreign country deserve to know that the company they are trusting with their safety and their experience operates to verifiable standards. The certifications and partnerships listed on this page are not decorative. They represent specific requirements that we meet, third-party verification of our operational standards, and ongoing relationships with organizations that hold us accountable to the commitments we make.
- MINCETUR
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru is the government body responsible for licensing and regulating all tourism operators in the country. Our MINCETUR registration number confirms that Inca Jungle meets the legal requirements for operating as a tour company in Peru, holds the required insurance coverage, employs licensed guides, and operates within the regulatory framework governing adventure tourism activities in the Cusco region.
- AGOTUR
The Regional Association of Tourist Guides of Cusco is the official body that licenses and certifies professional guides operating in the Cusco region. All Inca Jungle guides hold current AGOTUR certification, which requires formal training, examination, and demonstrated competency in guiding practice, history, ecology, and language proficiency.
- SWIFT WATER RESCUE CERTIFICATION
All rafting guides employed by Inca Jungle hold current swift water rescue certification from a recognized training organization. This certification requires demonstrated competency in river reading, rescue techniques, equipment management, and emergency response in moving water environments. Certifications are renewed on a regular schedule and our guides participate in ongoing training between certification periods.
- WILDERNESS FIRST AID
All lead guides on Inca Jungle departures are trained in wilderness first aid, with specific emphasis on altitude sickness recognition and management, which is the most relevant medical skill for guiding in the Andean environment. Our guides carry a comprehensive first aid kit and emergency oxygen on every departure.
- TRIPADVISOR AND INTERNATIONAL REVIEW PLATFORMS
Our reputation on TripAdvisor and other international review platforms represents the accumulated feedback of thousands of travelers who have completed the Inca Jungle route with us. We encourage all travelers to read these reviews before booking and to contribute their own honest assessment after the trek. The consistency of our reviews across multiple platforms and over multiple years is the most meaningful validation of our standards that any third-party certification can provide.
